SAN FRANCISCO – June 6, 2023 – Pam Moore, veteran journalist, and evening anchor for KRON4 News announces her retirement from the evening anchor desk. Moore has been anchoring KRON4 News since March 1991, where she reported and anchored across all KRON platforms, KRON4-TV, kron4.com, and streaming service KRONon.A native of Detroit, Moore graduated from the University of Michigan, where she earned a degree in Radio, Television and Film. She began her broadcasting career as a news reporter at WJLB Radio in Detroit. (KTXL) — Florida's Division of Emergency Management confirmed Tuesday afternoon its involvement in what it calls "voluntary relocation" of volunteers who "indicated they wanted to go to California," this after two flights carrying migrants arrived in Sacramento in the last week. (KRON) -- A jury convicted a federal prison guard this week of sexually abusing inmates who were imprisoned inside Federal Correctional Institute Dublin in the East Bay. John Bellhouse, 40, formerly of Pleasanton, was employed as a correctional officer. Trial evidence showed that Bellhouse used his authority to sexually abuse female inmates beginning December 2019 through October 2020. "Correctional Officer Bellhouse committed an egregious breach of trust by using the cover of the (Bureau Of Prisons) facility’s Safety Office to sexually abuse individuals in his custody," said Deputy Attorney General Lisa Monaco. "This guilty verdict is yet another warning that any Bureau employee who abuses their authority will be held accountable. (KDVR) — Aurora's police chief reviewed body camera video with the family of Jor'Dell Richardson, the 14-year-old boy killed by police after a reported armed robbery last week.Interim Police Chief Art Acevedo met with Richardson's family representatives and lawyers on Tuesday afternoon, according to the police department.Colorado law requires police to wait 72 hours to publicly release body camera video after providing it to the family in the case, police said. RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) -- Two people are dead and multiple others are injured in a shooting outside a high school graduation near Virginia Commonwealth University’s Monroe Park campus Tuesday evening, sources tell Nexstar's WRIC.Interim Richmond Police Chief Rick Edwards said during a Tuesday evening press conference that officers who were working inside the Altria Theater during Huguenot High School's graduation around 5 p.m. ET when they reportedly heard gunfire outside the building.Those officers notified additional officers who were stationed outside the theater. Seven individuals were found outside the theater with gunshot wounds, Edwards said. Three suffered life-threatening injuries while four have non-life-threatening injuries. Additional victims transported themselves or were taken via Richmond Ambulance Authority to nearby hospitals with other injuries.
